Highlights from our Current Newsletter

There are virtual events happening on many levels of the Comhaltas organization from the branch to the region and into the greater community. Read about them in the newsletter. Zoom fatigue seems to be an issue for some.  That’s unfortunate, particularly when you consider the alternative. Lacking the technology that allows remote interaction during a pandemic seems equivalent to isolation. So Zoom fatigue doesn’t seem so bad.

Comhaltas News

Comhaltas, the organization, will celebrate their 70th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Comhaltas Ireland has asked the regions to “tell their stories” in video format. The story of our region, the Northeast Region, will be told through its branches in these locations:

  • Boston, MA
  • Albany, NY
  • Buffalo, NY
  • Hartford, CT
  • Rochester, NY
  • Utica, NY

While branch representatives are working together to produce the video, we need you, our members, to capture our essential story. And so we ask:

  • How would you tell the story of the Reynolds-Hanafin-Cooley Branch and/or the CCÉ Boston Music School?

  • What does Comhaltas mean to you?

What do we need?

  • Stories – memories
  • Videos- even those short clips taken for social media
  • Photographs
