Other Scholarships
Frank Hartigan Memorial Scholarship
Frank Hartigan was a musician and long-time member of Ceol Traidisuinta na h’Éireann. In his honor Ceol Traidisuinta na h’Éireann, under the direction of Frank Bane, established a scholarship fund and has graciously funded six full semester tuition scholarships for students at our music school. We do not manage this scholarship.
The RHC branch is most appreciative to Ceol Traidisuinta na h’Éireann for these scholarships to honor the memory of Frank Hartigan.
Annie Mullen Memorial Irish Music Scholarship
This scholarship is now being use to fund classes of beginner level students enrolled in the CCÉ Boston Music School.
Annie Mullen, a longtime Boston, MA, resident and native of the Connemara region in Ireland, enjoyed the traditional music and dance of her homeland. She instilled this interest in her children through many trips to Ireland and incorporating those traditions into her family life. Annie enthusiastically enjoyed listening to or dancing to this music. After her passing in the summer of 2016, friends and family joined together to fund a scholarship in her memory.
We are most grateful to the family and friends of Annie Mullen who have donated to this scholarship in her name.
