Some Highlights from our Current Newsletter

Reagale Players

Once again, the Regale Players have invited CCE  to be a part of their production “A Little Bit of Ireland” being held at Waltham High School in March.  Details are provided in the Newsletter.

North American Provincial Convention

Register by March 12th to avoid a $25 late charge.

The CCÉ North American Provincial Convention is hosted by the Chicago Branch the first weekend in April. We look forward to entertainment by John Williams from Solas and Katie Grennan of Gaelic Storm, among others. Find details on our calendar and more info in this and future newsletters.

Irish Hearts for Orphans Benefit Dance

Comhaltas will play  in April  for the Irish Hearts for Orphans Benefit  Dance in Quincy.   Why not come along and help aid in this very worthy endeavor? Look for more details in our Newsletter and on our calendar.

The Music School

Some of you may have noticed the new location for our CCÉ Boston Music School.  St. Joseph Prep High School in Brighton has been very generous in allocating space for our music students which allows us to “keep the tradition going.”

Community Events

There’s no lack of Irish music and dance entertainment in the Boston area for St Patrick Day! All these  events can be found in our Newsletter.

New England Irish Harp Orchestra & Friends present  a St. Patrick’s Day Concert with a Ceili to follow Sat., March 17th ▪ 7:30 p.m. Canadian-American Hall, 202 Arlington St., Watertown

At The Burren,   there are St. Patrick’s Day Spectacular Variety Shows at two hour intervals. Packed with trad tunes, ballads, stories and dancing.

And if it’s films that interest you,  the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square hosts their annual Irish Film Festival.
