         The news is out !! Come celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann at one of the largest gatherings of traditional Irish musicians and dancers in North America. The annual convention is being held in the historic and vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, March 24th - 27th 2011.

     Convention Packages include four ceilis, with elite bands from New York and New Jersey. The weekend package for $175 includes all events from Friday to Sunday afternoon, plus four meals including the Gala Banquet and Ceili on Saturday night. (See Convention info & Registration Form at www.cceconvention2011.org All registrations received before 2/1/11 are eligible for a drawing for a free weekend package! A registration form is required for each attendee.

     The event will be held at the Hilton Hotel San Antonio Airport, 611 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas. Call (888) 728-3031 or call direct (210) 340-6060 or visit www.hiltonsanantonioap.com. Reservations are now open! Ask for special "IRISH" room rate $129 (US). There will be free shuttle service to/from the Hilton and San Antonio Airport. They are located just minutes apart.

     The convention is being hosted by the Fr. Sean Egan Branch, the newest chartered branch of Comhaltas Southern Region. Jim Fox, branch chairman, says "We are thrilled to commemorate the 60th annual CCE Convention here in beautiful San Antonio, Texas."
