If you subscribe to our email list, you receive occasional emails from our group. We usually let you know about upcoming special events or even about a last-minute cancellation or sometimes we share other important news that we think you would be interested in hearing.
These are a few of our recent emails we have sent out to members and non-members who have joined our mailing list: recent e-mails.
If you are a dues-paying member of the Reynolds, Hanafin, Cooley Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, you also receive a monthly newsletter with branch information, including activities and news about branch members and community events. Members also receive a subscription to Treoir magazine from our main organization in Ireland. Read more about membership here.
If you are not receiving our occasional emails and would like to, subscribe here. Note that we are using an email list management service, MailChimp, to send our emails. Since our emails go through this service, the emails may end up in your spam filter or your social mail if your email client separates personal from social and promotional emails. Don’t forget to check there. Of course, you may unsubscribe at any time or update your email preferences by clicking the link on the bottom of your email.

Now in its 16th Edition! Enjoy one of the largest Irish shows in New England. A pinch of Irish tenors! A wee touch of Riverdance! A peek at Irish cottage life. A rousing Irish pub visit! The lilt of laughter with a master Irish comic. The grand rhythms of Irish step dancing. The ever insistent charms of Irish bands. Hundreds of bewitching Irish songs fill the air on St. Patrick’s weekend when everyone is Irish! It’s Reagle’s hearfelt homage to an Emerald Isle – and it’s all “a little bit of heaven.” Pure Celtic magic!
The Irish community has lost a number of dear friends this past month. To the families of Brendan Tonra, Sean Potts, and Finbarr Dwyer, we offer our sincere sympathies. They will be remembered through our memories and their music always.
Once again, I and other Comhaltas musicians and the Harney Academy of Dance will be performing with the Reagale Players in the Production “A Little Bit of Ireland” to be held at Waltham High School, 617 Lexington St., Saturday, March 15th at 2 p.m. & 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 16th at 2 p.m. Hope to see many of you at this popular event.
With a new year underway, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your friendship and continuing support of Comhaltas. Together we’ve continued in the tradition our beloved former chairman, Larry Reynolds (RIP), so proudly fostered.
With the help of God, and good people like you, we will continue to do so for many years to come.
The Reynolds-Hanafin-Cooley Branch Officers extend their best wishes to you for a peaceful, healthy, and happy New Year.
